We just wanted to point out that Hop Against Homophobia is being featured on Kool Queer Lit today. Please stop by if you're interested in reading more about the hop.
Hi Everyone I'm a new author and my 1st book is due out for release on 23 June. Am I allowed to do the Hop seeing that my prize will only be available then? It was great visiting your blog and see so many people taking a stand.
We were signed up and ready to roll -- then saw where you didn't want to have a gift card as a prize... (b/c we are aspiring M/M writers, we were gonna do a 10 dollar B & N one.)
However, we stand by the cause - and will let people know on twitter, face book - and go ahead and post our story on our blog in support of the day -- but unfortunately have to bow out of the hop...
Maybe next year when our M/M book is published! Much luck!
You're still welcome to join the hop. May I suggest that instead of offering the gift card (we're not banning them, just discouraging) you give a $10 donation to a charity that fights homophobia in the name of a winner?
